This could be doing with being a bit larger to cope with larger quantities. When you’re making soups in large quantities, you have to liquidise them in smaller quantities. There is a hole in the top of the lid, which is intended for adding more liquid, easier than having to remove it, you can just use a jug and top up the liquids.

That’s a design flaw as you wind up having to hold a piece of kitchen tower over it, to prevent the liquids from shooting out the hole. So not the best performer in the liquidising department.
