The Upside to the Kenwood Blender HB724 Model
- Lumpy Mash No More!
The Kenwood HB724 uses a 700-watt motor, that’s stronger than some others are. It’s all the power you’ll need to make your blending, chopping, purees and fruit slices easy, while keeping the hand blender’s main unit, still light enough in weight to be used single-handed.
For busy Mums, Dads, Nanas and Papas, you’ll be able to get potatoes mashed to perfection, with no lumps in under 60 seconds. No need to manipulate food with forks again. Just add the masher attachment to the blender and let it do the hard work for you.
- Variable Speeds
The Kenwood blender has variable speed settings, including a turbo speed. The slow speed works just as well, for your more delicate tasks, such as whisking your egg whites for fluffy meringues.
Even on the turbo mode, the light nature and comfortable grip of the Kenwood blender design, ensure that you can operate it easily, without finding it straining on your wrists.
Due to the lightweight nature of the Kenwood HB724, it’s ideal for people with arthritis in their hands and/or wrists, as they’re next to no effort required to use it. You can enjoy your home made dinners, without the chopping and slicing hassles, associated with home cooking.
The Kenwood Blender does the hard work for you.
- Good Size Blender and Beaker
You get a good-sized half litre capacity beaker with the Kenwood HB724. Also included is the 75ml beaker. The combination’s great for slicing and dicing fruits, and then using the beaker to make up a good serving for “real” fruit smoothies, or perhaps milkshakes or other drinks.
- Kenwood TriBlade Technology
The TriBlade technology is only available on a Kenwood blender. It’s far superior blade action is what makes a Kenwood blender, one of the most versatile, multi-functional hand blenders you’ll find.
Stainless steel blades, Kenwood TriBlade technology, combined into a lightweight, easy, and comfortable Kenwood blender that makes light work of food preparation, leaving you with more time to enjoy your food, rather than slave away preparing it.

What we dislike
- Not all the parts are dishwasher safe
The stainless steel blades are dishwasher safe, but there are some plastic attachments such as the masher tool, that is susceptible to high temperatures. It can cause it to lose size when it’s exposed to high temperatures, and then they don’t fit on the blender. You’ll need to go through the instruction manual and find out what parts are safe to put through the dishwasher and what ones you’ll need to wash by hand.
- No Storage Container
With all the accessories that come with the Kenwood blender, you’d expect to have somewhere to store your attachments. You don’t get a container included, to help you store everything away neatly, ready for the next time you need to use it.
To keep it all together, you’ll be better to keep the original box the Kenwood HB724 comes in, so you can keep all the attachments in one place.
- Short Cord
Granted, the Kenwood HB724 comes with cord wrap function, to keep the cord tucked away neatly, but there’s not that much there to wrap. It’s short and could be doing with a longer one that gives more reach. When you’re using it, you’ll have to be near a socket as you can’t stretch it across the kitchen worktop.
Overall Analysis of the Kenwood Blender
The Kenwood HB724 hand blenders attachments are where you’ll get the best benefits from it. In particular the masher accessory. Other hand blenders tend to take the potato and turn it into lumpy mash or even worse, that gooey texture that tastes disgusting. The mashing accessory, with the powerful motor is all you need to make that task a breeze.
The Kenwood TriBlade technology takes all the other chores of chopping up onions, carrots or blending strawberries through it, a dream come true. Other hand blenders need you there to manipulate them through the food. The Kenwood HB724 just needs you to move it around effortlessly and the Kenwood blender does the hard work for you.
